The area under the giant roofs not only contains gardens and lots of water, but also shops and restaurants.
On a more serious note: I attended a lot of presentations, and followed the ACS Short Course on Statistics, taught by Dr. Morgan and Dr. Deming. That was an amazing experience as well.
