I spent most of the rest of the week in Nashville, Tennessee, visiting the FACSS (Federation of Analytcial Chemists and Spectroscopists Societies) annual conference. It was held in the Opryland hotel. The Opryland hotel is quite an experience. As you can see, it's like a cross between Babylon 5 and a giant Victorian glass house. I now now where the inventor of Biosphere II got his inspiration from. If man ever colonizes Mars, this is what the colony should look like...
