The new year brought an unexpected visitor to USC: snow.

On average it snows about once a year here. This means there are almost no snow ploughs, and what would be considered "business as usual" up north turns into a major disruption of public life. Just a few inches of snow caused the Governor to declare a State of Emergency and USC to close its doors.

The few students remaining on campus were pretty much trapped on campus for fear of being rear-ended by someone driving his pick-up truck too fast for the road conditions.
